Liked this hotel, had 2 good days here. The location was quiet, short walk to most Downtown San Diego attractions and restaurants, the Convention Centre, and Sante Fay/ America Plaza trolley station which had all 3 lines and easily accessible. It also was very next to everything in the Center.

Fine room especially. Friendly staff
-Pity, that the breakfast was not at the expense of the hotel -Wi-Fi not available for several times. Probably too little capacity.

Stayed here for 2 days, liked the hotel, it was fairly clean with top location close to all the attraction plus gaslamp quarters walking distance. The rooms were well-equipped and view of downtown was magnificent. The venue had very professional staff members. I had fun days staying at this trendy boutique hotel.

Location was great, staff was helpful and courteous
Having a chair in the room made it too crowded.

Ideal location between the Amtrak station and Gaslamp. International standard, rooms a bit small. No breakfast, but a Coffee Tree and Tea Leaves in the building.

The location was great, just a short stroll to Gaslamp. The ventilation was super loud, hard to relax 😅

The room was adequate in size and very comfortable. It was well appointed. The staff was quite competent and friendly. They had a loaner bicycle program that was really very nice.
There were too many add-ons to the quoted price that ran the cost to $275 per room for the two day stay.

I have restored a couple of old hotels in my career and the restoration of the old Pickwick was very well done. My room was very comfortable and modern, but ample design elements of the past. I'd definitely stay there again.
I heard that some of the rooms were on the small side, buy my room had a nice sitting room and was very comfortable. Dining on-site would be nice, but there are tons of restaurants near-by.

Recommend for a weekend stopover
Comfortable bed, spacious towels, and the water filling stations throughout the hotel were a great touch. The convenient location just 500 meters from Santa Fe Depot made it easy to explore the area.
No complaints.
